Starting Monday

  • No more than 1,700 calories a day. For every month I go without eating over 1,700 calories I will reward myself.
  • In bed by 10pm every night, unless at work. If at work in bed by 11pm.
  • Awake by 7am, though ideal is 5:30.
  • Workout at least three times a week.
  • Cut down on soda, SLOWLY!
  • Start writing in a journal again'
  • Cut down on online time, but don’t neglect your friends either.
  • Read 30 mins a day, REGARDLESS. This is a priority.

Now to explain all of these..

No more than 1,700 calories a day. For every month I go without eating over 1,700 calories I will reward myself.

This explains itself..I think this is a decent starting out calorie goal, what do you think?

In bed by 10pm every night, unless at work. If at work in bed by 11pm.

Again explains itself.

Awake by 7am, though ideal is 5:30.

No more sleeping, productivity is a must!

Workout at least three times a week.

Hopefully I can stick to this one, even though I’m working 5 days a week.

Cut down on soda, SLOWLY!

I’m addicted to it. Not even going to lie, I am. When I cut down to quickly it effects my body in ways I hate to admit.

Start writing in a journal again.

To keep track of my feelings, what’s going on in my head, and for William to read when he gets out of jail <3

Cut down on online time, but don’t neglect your friends either.

I can’t be online 24/7. I also can’t neglect my online friends, we’ll see how this goes.

Read 30 mins a day, REGARDLESS. This is a priority.

Reading is an outlet for me. It relaxes me, and helps me leave the real world for a while.

  1. It's Charl :)

1,700 calories is a good amount. It means you should slowly start to see a difference, it isn't as dangerous as cutting them to 1,400 or 1,200 as I've been tempted to in the past (crazy magazines with their crazy ideas!) & it leaves alot of room for a good healthy breakfast, good lunch & good dinner. With a couple of healthy snacks in between & the occasional treat. & while it's only 300 calories less a day than the "supposed" calories we need, over the month it's on average 9k calories less, which is like, 5 days food!

I get where you're coming from with the soda thing, it's unreal how addicted I've been in the past. I used to drink at least 4 cans of coke a day (& that was on a good day) one day I realised how bad it was, not only for my stomach, my health in general, or my teeth, but for my sanity. It messed with my whole life drinking so much sugar & caffeine . I tried to give it up straight away & it made me physically sick because my body had no idea what was going on. I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was a snappy bitch, I hated everything & everyone, it was like I was coming off a class A drug (not that I'd know from experience what that feels like!)
So yeah, take it slow like you've said, I now drink fruit juice (normally half a glass) when I'm super tempted, which is still full of sugar, but at least it has some goodness in it!

I'm glad you're happier. :) I hope you can stick to this, & that it makes it easier for you to stick to this now that he's back with you.

You know where I am if you want to talk about anything.

    xx
